Privacy

You can read every page on this site without an account, and without giving us anything about yourself.

What we collect

  • Aggregate page views. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count which pages are read and which sites link to them. It sets no cookie, assigns you no identifier and cannot follow you to another site. We see totals, never a person.
  • A preference cookie. If you switch between light and dark, we store your choice in a cookie named brifd_theme so the page does not flash the wrong colour next time. It holds one word, it is not used for advertising or analytics, and clearing it costs you nothing but that preference.
  • Your email address, only if you type it in. The signup box is the one place this site asks you for anything. If you use it we store the address and which page you signed up from, and we use them for one thing: sending the weekly note when it launches.
  • Ordinary server logs. Our host records requests, including IP addresses, as every web server does, to serve pages and to stop abuse. We do not build profiles from them.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent or share your email address, with anybody, ever.
  • We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
  • We do not ask you to log in, and reading the site creates no account.
  • We do not want your financial details. No page on this site will ever ask for a bank, brokerage or card number, and if one appears to, it is not us.

Advertising

TenQ is free and is intended to be funded by advertising. As of the date at the top of this page it carries no advertising, and therefore no advertising cookies and no third-party ad scripts.

That will change, and this page will change first. Before the first advert appears we will name the network here, say what it stores and how long for, and explain how to opt out of personalised advertising. If this section still says there are no ads while you can see one, that is a mistake worth telling us about.

Getting your data removed

Write to hello@tenq.co from the address you signed up with and we will delete it. No form, no reason needed, and no account to close. Every email we send will also carry an unsubscribe link that works without a reply.

Who else is involved

Three services see traffic in the course of running the site: Vercel hosts it and serves every page, Supabase stores the email list and the site's own admin login, and Cloudflare answers DNS for tenq.co. Each of them processes data on our instructions and for no purpose of ours beyond running the site.

Company figures come from the SEC's own public filings. Fetching them tells the SEC nothing about you, because we fetch them on a schedule and store the result: your reading a report does not reach out to anybody.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, write to hello@tenq.co and it will be deleted.

Changes

The date at the top of this page is the last time these words changed. When they change materially, that date changes with them.

Questions about any of this, or a request to delete what we hold, go to hello@tenq.co. See also the terms and about pages.
