3. How the Analysis Is Produced, and Its Limits

Company reports, fact sheets and insights are deterministic. Figures are computed from the company's own SEC filings and the sentences around them are written by fixed rules from those figures, so the same filings always produce the same page. No figure on those pages is produced by a language model. The editorial note near the top of each report and the company story linked from it are not written by fixed rules: a language model writes them from the company's latest earnings release, and every figure in them is checked against the filings before it is published.

That removes one class of error and leaves others:

  • Rules can be wrong: a check is a threshold somebody chose. It can be the wrong threshold for an industry, or right in general and misleading for one company. Every check shows the figure and the threshold it used so you can judge that yourself.
  • Filings can be odd: companies tag their own XBRL data, and they restate, re-scale and change definitions. Where a figure is untagged we show it as missing rather than estimate it, but a mis-tagged figure can still pass through as a number.
  • No analyst reviews each page: pages are generated and published without an individual human review, at the pace filings arrive.
  • Nothing here is a forecast: every figure describes something already filed or already traded. There are no price targets, no ratings and no predictions of future performance.

4. Data Accuracy and Third-Party Sources

Data presented on TenQ (including stock prices, fundamental metrics, news headlines, and regulatory filings) is sourced from third-party providers (e.g., Yahoo Finance, Finnhub, YouTube, Government RSS feeds). 5. Assumption of Risk

Investing in financial markets involves a high degree of risk, including the potential loss of your entire principal. Historical returns, back-tested models, or “High Conviction” setups identified by our algorithms are not indicative of future results. You should never invest money you cannot afford to lose.
